Win Saturday! Big crowd with everything on the line - the chance to avoid the play-in game for the first time since 2001! Winning will not only set the tone for the tournament, but also for next year. Can't lay an egg in front of a big crowd again. A big win Saturday will do a lot for season ticket sales for next season. Will the guys "man up" and win a big one or fold again under the pressure of a huge game and a big home crowd?

Win the big one, fellas! I know it gets said a lot, but THIS is the biggest game for the program in years - for real!

I especially don't want to lose Saturday and go one-and-done in the tournament to finish one game above .500. That would be disappointing, kind of like how we ended the baseball season last year - a really good season, but with a bad ending.

Should be interesting to see how the team reacts to the biggest game in years. Hopefully they can come out fired up and not fall behind by 10 points. They really need to put it to MOST right from the beginning. Get the crowd involved and not look back. These are the games that make a player a star or want to shrivel up and hide.

Who is going to step up and take control? Let's here some theories.

I think it has to be Harry. He is the senior point guard and supposed to be the leader.

Lathan.

He started to get his stroke back in the second half and looked pretty good for as much time as he's missed. I look for him to get involved early and often providing he didn't hurt himself in some OTHER way during last night's game. He was ready to be a star on this team before he was hurt the first time.

I went to the game last night and there seemed to be a lack of effort for the majority of the game. Not saying every player at the same time, but just about everyone had their moment last night. We don't have anyone to stop odiakosa hands down that has been proven. I want to win Saturday as much as the next guy that is for sure , but I believe we were in this position two years ago vs Missouri st and well they came in and blew us out. I sure hope we are ready should be the best crowd of the year. Trust me I am doing my best to get students to the game. So, saying this if we don't win another Thursday looms and I don't see that as a bad thing personally. If we win sat. we could play ILL st and I wouldn't want to play them again the way they are playing. If we lose we get Eville then possibly WSU whom I would rather play than Ill st. So the play in game I don't think would hurt us , but I still say we win Saturday and hope WSU ends up third which is still possible or by pass them both and just get 5th... let the criticizing begin on this post lol ....:sycamores::sycamores::sycamores:

I think it will be either harry or AC who has been our most consistent player since injury bug hit .
