I watched Alderink and Birmingham some more in games. Alderink's team is not that good but they did beat an undefeated defending state champion by a wide margin. Alderink's handle and court vision will fit well in our offense. He is a better athlete than Birmingham but Birmingham does have a sweet jumper and also a good looking handle for his size.
They are both very comfortable with the ball and can score off of the dribble. Alderink can go hard to the basket but needs to work on finishing shots at the rim.
