Softball wins at Missouri State

the ISU softball team, after losing 2 times by 1-0 scores on Saturday, won today at MSU by a 3-2 score.

WSU is winning in their 3rd game with Bradley today, so a WSU win puts them 2 wins ahead of ISU in the chase for the last postseason MVC playoff spot.

Next weekend ISU is at Evansville, WSU is at Drake, ISU will need to win at least 2 games, or all 3. If WSU wins 2 at Drake then ISU will be eliminated from post season play

Bradley came all the way back and beat WSU, so that helps ISU as they are now only one win behind WSU in the standings.

IF ISU can win one more game than WSU next weekend they will get the last spot in the MVC tourney.

kudos to the girls as this is the most MVC wins they've had since they last qualified for the MVC tourney in 2009, so hopefully they can make it this season as well.
