Sold!! The Indiana Theatre is sold

TERRE HAUTE — The Indiana Theatre at 683 Ohio St. is sold.

Rob Lundstrom, who owns the Copper Bar and Louise’s, took possession of the historic downtown theatre on April 25.
Lundstrom plans to operate the building as a catering and event center.

The Indiana was a nice place back in 1964 when I first saw it. I hope it works out well for all.

Good luck to the new owners.I hope they have deep pockets.The last time,about 2 years ago,I was in the theater and it is quite run down.The seats are broken down and the whole area was generally in need of repair and painting.I hope this works,it could be a beautiful place again.
