Just this Make Fun of Indiana State thread has received 85 comments. Heck, they have a thread for I think a Walk-On (Paul Bain) who hasn't played a down yet, has 102,808 views, 1008 replies.

Love that someone posted your wiki with a Sycamores win, heh. Classic.

Paul Bain is indeed a walk-on, and has been an internet-manufactured folk hero for the past couple of years. He has actually played in a few games now (two late last season), and made the game-saving field goal block in the last seconds of Monday's game against Ga Tech. So the internet myth turned real, and folks are now even more excited about and happy for the lad. He works his butt off (2 jobs in addition to school work and football commitments). Seems like a good, down-to-earth young man.

Yep. The VOL fans are a pretty rabid and highly dedicated bunch of people---in large numbers.

I live in Nashville now and have not been sucked into the vol. thing. Think back to our Larry Legend days and multiply that by 100%. A number of years ago Vanderbilt(Nashville) was playing at huge rival Tennessee. I 40 from Nashville to Knoxville was a solid stream of cars. That's a three hour drive. You are definitely in football country down here. I know it is a real long shot but go blue.
