Due to the cancellation of the Billy Hayes meet at IU tomorrow, ISU will host a twilight meet Saturday afternoon into the evening.

I believe the same teams that were going to IU will now come to ISU, including IU, Notre Dame, and Butler. I can't even remember the last time IU or Notre Dame brought a track team to a meet at ISU?

Anyway, if you're not flooded in, come cheer on the team one last time before the MVC meet.

Looks like IU and Butler at least, will be at the meet tomorrow, no word on Notre Dame yet as they haven't updated their track website yet, so we'll see.

Haven't really been able to find other teams that will be there.

Heat sheets are up. This should be a good meet! Teams from Indiana State, IU, Butler, Eastern Illinois, Miami (ohio), Washington University, Rose Hulman, Thomas More, and Rio Grande will be here.

We should see some track records in the 800 and 1500 as there are Kenyans running today, as well as some other very elite athletes! Would be a great meet to attend! 2pm start time.

the meet has concluded, the highlights would include:

Senior David Timlin getting an NCAA East regional qualifying time in the men's 1500, he hadn't even been close this year and wound up winning in 3:42.93, which places him 16th in the east regional. David has qualified for the last 2 NCAA championship meets out in Oregon, so it was good to see him make the regional meet.

Thrower Hunter Schuman had a good meet, setting PR's in the shot put and Hammer Throw.

And do everything senior Alethia Marrero ran 59.50 in the 400 meter hurdles to win that event.

MVC's are next weekend in Wichita, so we'll see how ISU stacks up after the weekend meets have concluded.

turned out to be a nice meet, kudos to IU for bringing some kids up to run because they don't normally do that as they host several indoor/outdoor meets throughout the year. The IU kids who ran today may very well never see our track again, so thanks to the Hoosiers.

Might somehow seem fitting if all except Shox showed up at another site and run a great meet. Shame on me! That wasn't very nice was it?

eh, Wichita has had a good year in Track, they will easily win both meets, they've been very good competition for all the fully funded track schools in the MVC, so the indoor/outdoor track conference championship meets going forward will be less competitive, which is sad. No matter who we add, they will be bottom feeders in cross country and track.
