I was perusing gosycamores.com yesterday and it was saying that the first televised game for Sycamore Vision of men's basketball was in January (Bradley game). That can't be right can it? Someone please tell me that the game tomorrow...or this weekend will be on SycVision???

I ran into the same thing when looking at the football schedule a few months back (first televised game the website showed was against SDSU). Someone here assured me the other games would be televised on sycvision. I still haven't signed up.

My two concerns/questions about Sycvision (first time I've ever used it). The first was that I couldn't get the video player to enlarge and the second was that the audio seem to be ahead of the video at times. Maybe it was just my computer.

There's two ways to enlarge the video...there's an icon on the tool bar (looks like four arrows pointing in from the corners of a box) or you can just double click on the screen itself and it'll go to full screen. Coverage was decent last night...audio was just a tad off but not enough to distract me.

I also couldn't get it to enlarge, but I think that will be fixed when reg season starts. It has worked (full screen) that past two seasons just fine.

Unfortunately, the audio is almost always slightly off on SycVision.....if it's just too annoying to deal with, try this: Turn the audio off on SycVision. Open up a second browser and stream the audio directly from the radio station broadcasting it....if memory serves, that audio is usually more in sync with the video feed.

Thanks for the tips. I know when I've tried listening to the radio while watching a Colts game the radio runs on a delay. You don't have the same problems with Sycamore games?

Part of the delay is an issue IF satellites are involved; not to mention the FCC delay (required?) for 'live broadcasts'

If I use my Sirius radio AND the Dishnetwork (w/ a DVR) I can usually get them fine-tuned; at least to where it's not a complete pain

BTW -- Trees on National / Regional TV

Are there only three games (so far) scheduled to be on national / regional TV? I see the E'Ville, N. Iowa home games and Mizzu St on the road as part of the MVC TV package -- trying to decide if I should 'invest' in ESPN's GamePlan ($104 today!!)
Is the Valley part of that package?!...I may be best served by just getting the FSN channels instead; hmmmmmm.

Has any one seen the feed yet this year? If the audio is off I need to know which direct. If it is early it can be fixed. If it the audio seems late that would require a little more work to fix. Please let me know asap.

The audio was a little slow for the game last Friday. I'm also curious why the football game against NDSU wasn't on sycvision. I could have swore I saw it on the schedule Friday night.

i was told the internet went down unexpectedly.
