GRAND FORKS, N.D. – No. 17/15 North Dakota overcame a 20-point fourth quarter rally from visiting Indiana State as the Sycamores fell in overtime in a thriller inside the Alerus Center on Saturday afternoon, 36-33.

I thought it was a very good game to watch. We looked good most of the game but our defense let us down in the overtime. On the two missed 2 point conversion Dinka was open in the flat with no one near him. Should have been the difference in the game. I think we have found our new quarterback for the next three years. Chambers is just too fragile.

The evidence does indicate we lack enough quality depth on our defensive line and perhaps in the linebacking corp. Several games have just been attrition of the defense which holds up well for 30-40 minutes but eventually cannot contain the opponent.
