Sycamores Pick Up Postseason Missouri Valley Conference Honors

Heading into the 2018 edition of Arch Madness later this week at the Scottrade Center, the Missouri Valley Conference today announced its postseason awards for the 2017-18 campaign. Three different Sycamores have been honored by the voting panel comprised of conference head coaches, sports information directors and a media panel.

Scott didn't get on the all-defensive team? that one is surprising. Also can we please stop putting a purple ace on the first team? It is very apparent that it is a system designed for one person to have all-conference numbers, can we stop rewarding that?

Unless they don't allow Seniors to be on the All-Newcomer team, I thought Davis was deserving of that.

Tyreke deserves to be on the All-Freshman team as he had an overall pretty solid season, but Pickford or Krutwig will win FOY.

Tyreke's trajectory is very similar to Barnes. I expect him to be knocking on one of the all-conference team doors next year, like Barnes did this year.
