The Varsity Level
I am headed to the stadium this weekend for the first time in many years and also planning on doing a little tailgating there for the first time ever. Can someone tell me the best area for tailgating? Is the east side of the stadium the best? Any help would be appreciated.

West side has had the most action over the last several years. The has been a change made to Brown Ave. and this will have some impact on tailgaters. I've always been in the Varsity club lot on the west side but I am moving to the far east side over by the road, far more convenient for me.

Although I appreciate and understand the convenience part, but we're starting to build some momentum on the west side and would hate to start spreading people out...talkes away from the atmosphere! We walked about 1/2 mile to find Tom's RV last week ito be together in Happy Valley, encourage you to join us on the "west side" and help build cornerstone there :cheers !

West side is more the "official" tailgating side. Next to the lockerroom, band comes out and plays before the game.. players mix there after the game, etc.

HI 99 & Show Me's is suppose to be having a huge "Ultimate Tailgating" party also...beer garden,face painting,food,cornhole and lots more according to the commercials.
 
Not a surprise either, but the Ballyhoo is as well. Should have plenty of places to "water" the horses.
