Maybe SkinnyLu knows the 'ugly' details but I believe they spend A LOT of time sleeping on host families sofas, floors, hammocks, etc, etc

Perhaps someone should convert an old diesel GreyDog bus into a frenchfry oil-burning machine -- no doubt there are A TON of greasy spoons and fast food joints in the PL's 'footprint' -- great source of cheap/free fuel...
