The Cost of a Basketball Home Schedule

Here is an article about the cost of Wichita's home schedule, however crummy the opposition might be. I knew the cost of bringing teams in for a "one & done" cost money but I did not know how much? I can see why we have a problem getting home games with anybody.

I wish we could get IU or Butler back in the Hulman Center to draw huge student attendance. I think that is one problem with student attendance at our home games...we play teams that they have never heard of or they think that it will be a blowout so they don't want to get out walk down the road for a 25+ win.

We don't have a lot of 25 point wins on the schedule this year. I'll be surprised if we beat anyone by that much.

We beat Rose Hulman by 25+ although that game doesn't count on the schedule. I think we may beat Evansville or Drake by 25+, but don't quote me on it because anything can happen during the long season.
