Bally #50

The JSW Level
Does ANYONE know if there is any promotion for the Creighton game? It seems very ironic that we tried to buy 1000 tickets for the Out-of-Towner's game as we have done for the previous 5 years and it was "assumed" but NEVER confirmed that one or both of the last two games would be a bought sell-out therefore it was not going to work this season. Either Saturday game would have worked well for the OTC but now, as I look at the GoSycamores.com site, I see nothing in there about any kind of promotion for last Saturday's game or for the upcoming Creighton game, the final home game of the season. I was waiting for a call from John Sherman that never happened. I will contact someone in the AD's office to see if I can't get my hands on a bunch of tickets for my group but how can they be so unorganized to not allow someone like the Bally that wanted to buy a 1000 tickets for the Out-of-Towner's and continue our annual tradition in what would have been our 6th year.

I was disappointed that it appeared we could not work it out for this year, but I could see how a large company that wanted to buy the house, would take precedent over a group wanting to buy 1000. But now, as I am looking for tickets in a rather large quantity, I see nothing showing of any kind of promotion for the last game of the year. Unbelievable. I am truly dismayed and appalled that they chose not to work with us at all. So it would appear now that two companies and the Ballyhoo are unhappy and three groups that bleed blue are not able to boost attendance as they had hoped. I flat out do not get it. Hopefully someone will cut us a "deal" on the 50 or so I need, but good grief, it sure wasn't the experience that it should have been.

The OTC will have to wait for another year. That said, I did talk with John Sherman in the past 30 minutes or so and if you know anyone who is interested in $5 tickets for the ISU-Creighton game, send me an e-mail at [email protected] and let me know how many and I can have them left in will call or you can pick them up at the Ballyhoo before the game. This is NOT the Out-of-Towners Classic but since I know there are multiple fraternities having meetings that day, I figured that I can at least help a little bit to get a few more heads at HC.
