....and Proud, that is the way it SHOULD have played out. 2 in the dance and the Tree's in the NIT. Nice to have the "better" option than the 3 schools in the CIT. I know I am taking some extra pleasure in those accomplishments. Now, let's go out and play with INTENSITY~
Illinois State declined a post season tourney bid, it was NIT or nothing for them.
Only Drake, SIU, and MSU had no post season options.

We were 5-2 against our MVC rivals who are playing in the CIT. Not exactly the most thrilling information, but it's technically a positive. I think.
and how's this, we were 2-4 vs. MVC teams that had no chance to qualify for any post season tournament (Drake, SIU, MSU)
Last I sawEvansville was bringing the pain. They were up 20 late in the second half.

I was originally talking regular season, but obviously w/ post-season so Quabachi is correct. I should have clarified that. I was referring to what we had done with the regular season and forgot about the tourney.
