Sycamores enter a tough week ahead with a midweek game in Nashville then a series at Southern Miss. I know it’s early but these games carry a lot of weight come May. Gotta get the defensive woes figured out, these teams will take advantage of those.

Might be a high scoring game with winds blowing hard out to LC. Hopefully Cutts and company can keep the ball down and our fielding comes back closer to last year. We need ground balls to stay out of big innings today, and some strong infield play.

It's showing on the schedule on ESPN+.... I clicked on it, and it said "this event hasn't started yet"... so, I'm hoping it will be on there.

Should be good to go. If you have espn+ you also get access to the ACC and SEC games due to all of them under the same umbrella.
 
Listening to the pregame show, Coach Corbin was incredibly complimentary of State and Hannahs...no surprise...but it's always good to hear an elite coach speak highly of another elite coach. Best part is how he described State as having as close to a Farm system as one could have in college baseball...how Hannahs brings in Freshman and young jucos and teaches/coaches them the right way and how they stay with the program, waiting for their turn in future years.

Well the two things i said we needed to do, keep ball down and good infield play, have not happened and we are quickly down 2-0 before an out is recorded

Well, still in a massive Jam is Cutts with bases loaded, but he's got 2 outs....massive at bat here!

Cutts gets a ground out to end it and avoids a big inning. We go top 2 down 2-0
