My daughter is staying at the same hotel the Steelers are, and was talking to Tunch. She called me, and put him on the phone with me. He really is a great dude. He is still married to the cheerleader that was on the SI cover with Larry Bird.

tunch is a great guy.....one of the best in isu football history.....for being an undersized center....at about 240 pounds...he bulked up to around 285-290 pounds to play offensive tackle for the steelers.....made one pro bowl......

we used to play a pretty tough brand of two-hand touch football in the arena back in the day.......the tuncher knew how to deliver a blow....lol.....

now he's the steelers color analyst on their radio network...and he used to host a daily talk show on a pittsburgh radio station....he also owns a video production company that makes instructional videos for high school football coaches......

and, yes, his wife cheryl was the cheerleader on the sports illustrated cover with larry bird back in 1978-79......along with the indian princess.......
