Good for him and he might not even dress a game this year.

No he may not, which is best case scenario for him imo..get up to speed. If your suggesting he doesn't have what it takes I would say I think your wrong. Learning a system for a year with his intelligence is a good thing, he is a student of the game 365 days a year, something that's falling away from kids now days.

Obviously time will tell, but I think he will have a good career, not going to break any records or be a HOF player but he will do fine.

I never said he don't have what it takes. I know that he could be a goddess qb. Kind of sad they trade away the number 2 pick and don't even play him. Kind of understand him not playing but a number 2 pick? He should almost be ready in the later part of the season.

Trust me, he could play now..but they have tons invested in Bradford also...again I'm realistic and understand he could be a flop also. But he outperformed nearly every QB in all tests..that's a sign. Just think if he would have had 4 years starting not 1-1/4 at ndsu..food for though

Probably a bit off topic, but still not knowing how to start a thread properly, I'll just make a mention here.
I think it was last Friday night as we were leaving a restaurant, they had a CFL game on the tube. Edmonton was one of the teams, but for the 5 minutes I watched did not see or hear about Shakir.
For all you O'Leary family friends/fans, Chris and his new wife Jesse nee McKanna were married on Saturday. Like at Mike's wedding got to see a bunch of former Sycamore footballers. Also got to see a couple current footballers, Rob T, among them. If he's able to stay healthy, I think he's got a great chance of playing at the next level.
Great being a Sycamore footballer dad. A lot of question marks, but excited about the upcoming season.
Go Sycamores!!
