Gotta give a shout out to Myles Walker for the fine job he did against Echinique (or as our PA announcer pronounced it, eh-chin-eeky). This guy came to Creighton and was anointed the "best big man in the MVC in 20 years" before he ever stepped on the court. He and Walker had similar stat lines yesterday, and GE certainly didn't kill us. Myles truly held his own against him and deserves some kudos!

And in a stunning 180-degree turn from most of our big guys in the past (not including Carl), Myles has gotten better each game. He's really blossoming.

Walker has improved a great deal since the start of the season. I truly believe there is a double double in the not to distant future for him.

Walker has definitely improved since the start of the season. We just need him to start being more consistent with his close range jumper. I'd hate to see his poor shot costing us a game in the end.
