Former Coach Meggs had a rough season up in the Northwest.
Record 17-37 (6-21 PAC 10).

*Former Sycamore pitcher Cordell Greene logged 3.2 innings for the season (12.27 era) ?

No doubt a rebuilding season, again, for the Huskies. (They batted .258 with a 4.98 ERA.) I believe we'll see a gradual improvement over the next two years. The PAC-10 is a tough league. It was nice to see Joe Meggs having a solid season on offense...batting .317 with an on base percentage of .398. On the other hand, Cordell has to be disappointed by his decision to bolt from ISU after Meggs left. I'm not sure how he would have progressed in the MVC, but he probably would have seen playing time. What will he do next season? There appears to be no future at Washington.
