whew, that was too close, Sycamores win 72-66
SIU shot 55% from the field in the 2nd half to get back in the game. ISU shot 35% in the 2nd half. Not a good game, but a win.

Reminded me of the Butler game last year, when ISU looked very good the first half. then came out flat and sloppy while the opposing team came out with increased intensity. After the first few minutes of the second half it seemed like the refs wanted to keep it close. I don't usually complain about officiating but it was about the worse I have seen in the second half. We just had to touch a SIU player to get a foul and SIU would only get called if it was a hard foul and not always then. Coach Tiber of SIU worked the refs pretty hard in the first half, I guess it paid off for her.
