I hope "live stats" service of some kind is available! I don't see any mention on gosycamores.com or on the UTM baseball site.

Also, the UTM site shows the Saturday games at 11:00 Noon and 1:00 (CST). (Corrected from original posting!) Will these be seven inning contests?

(From bluepower: An apology to gosycamores.com for accidentally butchering your original post!)

We are spoiled to have radio coverage for most all games. I will really be lost if there is NO radio or "live stats" service available on Saturday! Ugghh!

Just to let you guys know, I am probably going to be covering The Baseball Tea this year for the statesman. I may ask you a few questions on here sometime if everything goes well and I get the job. Hopefully going to be a preview in there for the season next week.

Correction on the posted game times above on Saturday. I had the wrong time zone! Those times shown above should be Eastern. Martin, TN time is Central and the game start obviously at 11:00 and 1:00. Again, are these seven inning games?

WEATHER: They had 1.2 inches in past 24 hours. Today (FRI) mostly cloudy and 46-degrees. Saturday, partly cloudy with a high of 61 with southerly winds at 5-15 mph.

All nine-inning games this weekend between ISU and UTM -- also, due to wireless issues at UTM's baseball facility there will likely be no live stats for the games. Their sports information staff is working on trying to get a connection so that they can provide live stats, but it appears that it will be less than likely to be available.

Thanks for the update, Danny. Bummer that they can't spend a few bucks and get the wireless internet working. I know we did Twitter for a Chicago game last season...any prospect of that?

The live updates on Twitter will begin as soon as the women's basketball season is done -- sadly, it looks like we'll just have to relive the doubleheader through box scores and a play-by-plays
