Listened to the game today starting in the 5th inning and it was tied 2-2. Went to extras still tied 2-2, where we ultimately lost 6-2 in the bottom of the 11th on a 2 Out Grand Slam. Unfortunately we had a chance in either the 6th or 7th (can't remember which) where we had runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs and couldn't get anyone in. Frustrating, but it seems like our pitching and fielding was pretty good today, based on what I heard. The left fielder Pottinger made several great plays today according to the Iowa radio guy.
 
Baseball just won 6-1 over Quinnipiac. We were up 6-0 going into the 9th. We had 4 hits and 0 errors on the day. We're only two games in, but our defense seems pretty good, while the bats were a little suspect.

That wraps up our first weekend of play. Next game is against FL Gulf Coast in Port Charlotte on Tuesday.
