The Odum Level
On my way to work this morning I happened to be behind a purple semi hauling a trailer decked out in Western Illinois University logos. On the back it read Western Illinois football and on the sides it had their dog logo and read Leatherneck something. I don't know why their semi was driving through Davenport, Iowa, on a Thursday morning, or what was in it, but do we have an Indiana State semi? If not, we should!:)

We used to...sort of......

The father of former Indiana State linebacker Joe Dunn owned a trucking company in Cincinnati. When his son played for the Sycamores, the father decked out one of his 18-wheelers with Sycamore colors and logos. Even had the horn playing the ISU Fight Song. It was great!!!!!

Whenever Indiana State traveled to road trips, the father would take time off and would personally drive the equipment bags and stuff to the games. He would arrive in town with his horns blaring and lights flashing. Like I said, it was great!!!!!!

I know that we do have a trailer for the drag racing team... it's nice looking.
Not sure about a football equipment trailer.

They ought to bring the trailer for the drag racing team out to the stadium

on game days. Have the car out there too for fans to look at. It would be great cross promotion.

If i remember correctly didnt joe's dad even have an airbrushed pic of an "action photo" on the truck?

you are correct sir

The semi was really tricked out. They did a great job on it. Wish they still had it at Indiana State.

Having Joe Dunn around was also good because his uncle ran a sporting goods company

And they sold some really nice Indiana State pullovers. I still have mine and it's just like new. I may wear it on Saturday.

Most of the football team and coaches bought them as did some of the other teams on campus.
