Where did you go for fireworks, and how were they?

I just got home from Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute, and I thought their firework show was OK. It wasn't the best I have seen.

I went to the Indians game on Friday and stuck around for the fireworks at Victory Field. I was actually very impressed with the display they put on. I think my expectations may have been a little low though....

Best Firework show that I have ever seen was after a Reds game on a Friday night at Great American Ballpark. I think they have them after every Friday night home game during the summer.

We are in Chicago for the weekend and the fireworks show at Navy Pier was AWESOME!! I enjoyed them much more than the fireworks the Reds put on display at Wrigley roughly a few hours before! Beautiful ending to a day that was not so pretty to a fan of the Northsiders. Hope everyone had a geat Independence Day, even you Jlandrus!

P.S. I proudly donned my Sycamore gear all weekend, except at the baseball games of coarse, and even got a couple comments about it. Apparently Indiana State is somewhat known up here, which isn't surprising since it is one of our recruiting hotbeds.

Went to the landing on friday night which was very impressive, well organized, even had a beer garden outside and live band. Tonight we saw fire works at the terre haute country club down south which also was pretty good. hope you all had a good 4th of july.
