'Backer asked an interesting question in another thread, basically wondering what the age is of most of the people on this board. I decided to make it a poll question. What year did you attend/graduate from Indiana State. If your years at State bleed over from one decade to a new decade (ex. 1988-1991) than just select whichever decade you feel represents your "years of service" to State.

Class of 1999 represented!

Hard to believe it has been almost 15 years since Dr. Moore handed me my diploma, or should I say an empty case for my diploma that would go in it later.

First stepped on campus as a student in the fall of '64. Wow, have things changes--some not so good, but most things are so much better.

I was there 66-70. Jerry Newsom, NCAA runner-up. Had to have the right colored ticket to get into home games. It was great.

Oh, and I got an education too.

Thanks BT. Great idea.

Graduated in 2011. I remember all my hs friends talking about going to IU, Purdue, USI and they all thought I was nuts for wanting to go to ISU. Best decision I've ever made!

1966-1970. BS in 1970, MS in 1974. Newsome, Wade, Hollenbeck, Rich Mason, Fred Hardman, Mike Copper, Rich Edgerton, Jim Crone, Mike Phillips, Attonito Brothers, Rich Galbreath, Jim Brumfield, Verbie Walder, Steve Schmid, Bob Pychinka, Wrestling and Gymnastic meets in the Arena with bigger crowds than some FB and BB today. Great times.

2001-2005. Definitely some of the best years of my life (so far). I wouldn't do anything differently; though, I suppose if I could go back in time I would warn myself about a few ladies to steer clear of.

I wish I had known then what I know now about "women."

1967-71 so actually I could of answered the 60's or the 70's. Since I spent MORE time there in the 60's, that's why I selected that decade. Sycamorebacker and I almost there at the same time. I was at Evansville for the College Tourney championship and of course, I remember the color codes to get into the old arena as well. Didn't have to worry about those cards when I was a cheerleader in 70-71! Athletically, my biggest memory would ALWAYS lead me to being on the floor with the cheer squad for the 84-82 hoop victory AT Purdue~

I escaped Bloomington in the fall of 1979. Much like today the dorms were overcrowded and the Statesman Towers were shut down. When I graduated in 1983 they were open as Business and Education. Football was awesome my freshman year and very good for several years. Basketball started out very good. It seems we played an exhibition game against the U.S.S.R. national team that year. It could have been the next year but I think it was 1979. I never left Terre Haute. It has been a good city to live close to. I don't have to travel too far to watch THE SYCAMORES play.

class of '87, transferred back from Oklahoma City University in the Fall of 1984 and went to ISU my last 3 years of college (the 1st time)
