I was actually working in the Acquisitions Dept in the basement of the old Library when these rare very old books began to arrive. I had two main jobs there -- check to make certain when a book was about to be ordered that we did not already have that book .............
and to unpack books as they arrived just outside on the dock and check them in. I remember specifically when these began to come in and how careful I had to be when unpacking them .... this brings back some great memories of those days at ISU.
