Josh is an intriguing wing prospect out of Indy hoop factory Pike High School. A 6’4″ wing, Josh excels at getting to the rim in both transition and the halfcourt. While the production may not be there completely yet, the talent level is undeniable. However, he will need to improve his shooting, handle, and strength to be a difference maker at the next level. Can be a lock down defender if he commits to it mentally, and it looks like he is accepting and excelling at this task this summer.

Gentry was offered his first scholarship this week, by North Dakota. He's receiving interest from a number of other schools, including Bradley, Eastern Illinois, Evansville, Illinois State, Indiana State and Tennessee-Martin. Because he's played so little at the high school level, most schools have told Gentry they would like to evaluate him as a senior.
