Here's one that I find interesting:

1.Most turnovers forced: Louisville (28.1 percent of opponents' possessions)
2.Fewest turnovers committed: Louisville (12.9 percent)

Any ideas WHY the reigning NCAA Champ Cards are tops in these 2 areas?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's because they've played garbage opponents, and mostly at home. Their schedule has been laughable up to this point, so I would hope the defending champs would be nearly tops in every category. The only legit team they've played to date is North Carolina, and they lost.

I suppose if you wanted to turn this into another discussion about the full court press we could, but it's because Louisville is a top-5 team that hasn't played anybody yet.

Well, they played UMKC last week in the 'Ville, so it'll be interesting to see how ISU stacks up, won't it?

Yeah...I suppose it will. ISU plays on the road for their game against UMKC, and, well, ISU isn't Louisville. You're kind of comparing apples to pears, but I get your point.

Richardson's borrowed a few things from Pitino...will be interesting to see his game plan, how it impacts ISU and what adjustments we make. As an ex-ISU Asst., he also knows Lansing's style. They can play loose and have little to worry about.
Since this is our 2nd straight "no name" game, I'm not expecting ISU to be "on the edge" as far as execution.

I'm wondering if they will play Gant if he is still having shin splint/stress facture concerns! I would hope they would not keep playing him! Hell they don't even run horses in Ellis Park if they are experiencing those types of problems.:disturbed: Please let him heal before the conference games start up!
Any update on this matter?
