Zach Fleer of SBNation Tweeted he is getting interest from Indiana State, WIU and Winthrop. He already has an offer from Bethune-Cookman per this older excerpt on him:

Jaquan Harrison (SG, Columbus Africentric / 2015):

Receiving his first Division-I offer from Bethune-Cookman earlier in the week, Columbus' best athlete, Harrison, had himself quite the day on Sunday. Showcasing incredible explosiveness and a nose for the ball, Harrison was one of the top scorers in the gym, in addition to his excellent work on the offensive glass. The junior from Africentric was also a force on the defensive end, using his ridiculous bounce to pin several shots off the backboard. Harrison has steadily improved over the course of the summer and into the fall season, and is primed for major production in 2013-'14.

His team will be playing in a tournament in January near me. Might have to make the quick drive over and check him out.

Drop me a PM if you are interested in attending this tournament, one of the bigger HS tournaments in the country. Takes place on MLK weekend.

This kid is certainly an athlete, no doubt about that. You can't teach that kind of athleticism. I just wonder what his jump-shot is like and if he can shoot the ball proficiently enough at the next level.

One little thing I noticed watching the videos, despite all of the huge dunks this kid was throwing down, not once did he show-up the competition. He never dunked the ball and then followed it up with a stare-down to his opponent, he never screamed in anyone's face, etc. He emphatically dunked the ball and then handed it to the ref or the opposing team and ran down the court to play defense. I know this may seem trivial, but I think it reveals this kid is mature and that he shows respect to his teammates and competition.
