This is surprising, no? Did his dad take that job or something cause I thought he was the HS coach at Wayne?

Yes, his dad is the head coach at Wayne. All it said in yesterday's paper was that he would be attending IMG and focusing on basketball, basically using it as a prep school year. One can only assume he wasn't happy with the offers he was getting.
