How do we miss out on 6-10 guys that are in our own backyard? Unless he is not very good. Lakeland is like Vincennes. We should never miss those guys when they have a player.

Believe that was prior to them canning their coach. Not sure if the new coach Mark Gottfried is trying to keep him.

That article is nearly 5 months old, so I doubt it’s still accurate. It’s not our MO to be offering kids committed to other schools. He didn’t sign during the early signing period in November, so I think he’s still available.

I'll go ahead and put my prediction in...this is the guy we'll sign. It just makes too much sense. Post player - check. Iowa connection - check. Loads of mid-major and low-major offers - check. Opportunity for immediate playing time - check.

Nor are there any clips of him passing the ball, which is important in our offense. He looks like a good pick-and-pop player with some back to the basket post skills. I like what I see in the limited footage available.
