Pretty thin stuff there... $185? but then again, I don't know how much the Elite program is a feeder for IU either.
 
I have many friends that are very fired up about this. I say, good for the NCAA, enforcing the rules that administrators and coaches created!

But I question the Elite program in general. Why is this acceptable? Why is it ok for an AAU coach to bring players from outside the US to the US to get scholarships at colleges? Why are we, in essence, outsourcing our college sports? Just a philosophical question, and Yes, I understand they may be better players!

Their entire 5 from last recruiting class played for Elite last year including Ron Patterson who has since moved on to prep school. Carlino transferred to Indiana from Arizona and played for them. Etherington played for the Elite AAU club. I'm sure there were others, but those are off the top of my head.
 
How has this thread made it 4 posts and nobody mention how awful one of the player's name is. Why would his parents do that to him?
