2 MVFC teams in FCS final 4

Possible MVFC champion game if North Dakota State and Youngstown State advance to final game. The Bison need to defeat James Madison and the Penguins will need to beat Eastern Washington.

An all MVFC championship game would show the world what a meat grinder conference we face each year.

That James Madison-NDSU game should be fantastic. I watched both of those semi finals and I was more impressed by JMU but it was apparent SHSU wasn't playoff worthy so I don't know exactly how good JMU is. The YSU-EWU game is a definite tale of two styles. Will be interesting to see if YSU's D can stop that offensive juggernaut.

Don't get me wrong, I want both of them to make it! But, Whether they both make it or one or none, the MVFC is the best conference top to bottom in the FCS! If the committee wouldn't have put all five conference schools on the same side of the bracket last year you would have probably seen a finals like the year before. That proves that even the committee knows it! We should have seen 5 schools again this year from the conference! I've watched some of the games also and there are some schools that made it in that would have had losing records in the MFVC!

So, why does the #1 team not get home field throughout the playoffs? Maybe some of the ndsu success has to do with them being at home all the time. I'm not saying they are not good, but home field in a dome is a great advantage and how do you get that #1 seed when you are not ranked #1?
