The 2011 Baseball Roster is posted at gosycamores.com which shows only those returning. It does not reflect those who were recruited but have yet to officially begin the school year. Among those missing compared to last year's roster (other than graduating seniors and Jake Petricka) are Wade Bush, Shane Crain, Matt King and Phil Liniger. Of those, Liniger was the only one who saw playing time. There were a couple of guys whose status was unsure, but they are still on the roster. I am anxious to see the full roster, which I hope they will post as soon as possible after fall practices start. Based upon what is left from last year...we need a lot of holes filled!

Interesting. Last year's roster had 32 and this one is down to 16. That's a big turnover for your average year, no?

so he may have decided to just stick with football for this year......
 
Looks like I missed Stenftenagel and Chestnut in my original post. I thought that both Stenftenagel and Liniger had promise. I am anxious to see what the coaches have come up with for 2011. It surely looks like a re-building year. No?
