Since the 2012 class is just about finished up, just wanted to start planting the seeds for the 2013 class. The 2013 class and recruiting cycle will be much slower as we only have one scholarship to give.

There are a couple offers already out there and there are a couple more guys that are very high on the list and close to landing offers. Will be interesting to see how quickly that scholarship is snagged up knowing there is only one available as I'm sure the staff will make that very clear to the prospects they target.

We need a scorer. We go way too long in games without getting a bucket. Unfortunately, it looks like we'll be using the one 2013 scholarship on a point guard.

I want to see better inside and mid-range shooting. We are limited by our senior class but I think the young pups are better shooters. I think RJ, Kitchell, Arop, Gant, Smith@Smith are all better shooters than our seniors and that will help down the road.

Don't know yet about the other young guys.

Need a Big always need a dominating guy in the middle . We are good in the guard departmentt for a few years but in the middle we need help.

I think we have a glut of bigs on the team right now and we're actually low on guards.

I think Daveinth wants someone to play against teams like Syracuse or Minnesota.

I don't think we should expect to sign a high major center. I think Kitch, Walker, RJ and Gant are about our upper limit as far as signing quality bigs. I feel fortunate to have those guys.

I think a plum for a mid-major is to get someone like Odum, Menser, Renn, Moss or Green -- guys like that.

I dont consider 6'7 -6'8 as a big . I mean other than Jake Kitchell who do we have that is that big for the next couple of years ? I want to have someone who can clog the middle like Walker does but Gant, and RJ are just not that type of players and Kitchell has yet to show he can fill that void . Guard wise we have a bunch of guys who can play the 1-3 positions for the next few years . Give me a nice 6'9 - 6'11 250 lbs guy that can fill the middle . We are losing 2 of our starters down low this year and I hope we fill that void.

That's fine, but if a mid-major has the ability to sign a 6'8" or a 6'10" center, 9 times out of 10 the 6'8" guy will be better.
We don't want to waste any scholarships on "projects" so we will probably sign the best and biggest we can get with emphasis on best. I've seen some pretty good 6'7" centers if they have the weight.

Why do you say that?
Because that's where our offers are at.

Zavier Turner, Duane Wilson and Brenton Scott are all points. The offer for Agau was made under McKenna, so I'm not even 100% sure it's still valid and he'll probably end up at a high major program since he has multiple HM offers.

Agreed.

Getting one of those guys would be great, but there are very few bigs that size in any mid-major conference and most of them were passed over by BCS programs because they were raw or projects or transfered down from the HM schools.
