I'm all for being nice to the opponents, but allowing them to end a 16 game MVC losing streak against us, LOL....
Coach Heller was ultra disappointed with the team's performance (other than kudos for a couple of relievers). Last night, before ISU broke away against bad pitching, the two teams were fighting it out for who could be the most mediocre. Tonight, ISU won that battle. The ability is there. The winning team culture and the fight are missing. Let's see what tomorrow brings...

From MVC Regular Season 2012 Champs to this...RP had better be examining post-season with a fine tooth comb. I've not been impressed by some of the "errors" & general play I've seen by ISU lately...you might say we've got individual & team "electrical problems."
Question: What was Coach Heller waiting for by allowing starting P Devin Moore to stay in the game for 2.2 innings:
9 hits
6 runs (5 earned)
faced 19 batters/1 SO/63 pitches
No wonder our squad "wasn't mentally in the game" after Heller obviously "threw in the towel" by staying w/ Moore too long.
Also, when your top of the lineup (Curry, Hannahs & Ort) go 1/14 at the plate. it's hard to manufacture rallies.
We again had 14 LOB's...hell, why even get on base if you're NOT gonna try to score.
