Looks like a good schedule. Kind of strange we play a conference opponent the first game of the year during the non con season.

The Valley is going to be very good this year. Six of the eight teams in the conference have a legitimate chance to make a Regional this year. However, I believe the Valley will only get 3 bids to a regional. So if you want to see good college baseball this is the year to get out to Bob Warn Field. College baseball will be here before we know.

1st season to have all regular home games on ESPN3. Last year, only ISU's hosting of the MVC Post-Season was telecast.

Here's a link to 2017 Preseason Top 40 that was released in December...

http://baseballnews.com/collegiate-baseball-2017-pre-season-poll-12-19-16/

Dallas Baptist and Washington made the Top 40

Others Receiving Votes: Mississippi State, Seattle, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri State, Southern Illinois, Ball State, Indiana State, Wichita State, Austin Peay

IF all the teams above have solid seasons, then our SOS should be good.

I love the culture Coach Hannahs is creating for our baseball program. He is willing to line his squads up against any team in the country. This year schedule proves that and a couple of years ago a series in North Carolina got cancelled due to weather and he and his squad spent a day and a half on a bus in route to Florida to play the number one team in the country (Vanderbilt) and took a game from them. I love when ISU gets an opportunity to play former coaches that used the program as a stepping stone. Beating Iowa and Rick Heller last year had to be a sweet victory for the players that played for or were recruited by Heller.
