just saw on Twitter we're not playing at Clemson after all, we're working on another ACC team to play as a buy game

We're playing in the Junkanoo Jam, no idea what other teams are there, but pretty sure they're all mid majors

We've added north dakota state to the schedule, no word on if it's a home and home, or a buy game, also no idea if it's a home game or road game.

We'll also have Ball State at home and Wright State on the road

Probably will also have a couple home games vs D2 or D3 teams

Ivy Tech agreed to a home/home

I definitely have mixed feelings on that Junkanoo tourney. Would prefer 2-3 high major teams to participate, but maybe we can finally win a holiday tourney with only mid-majors in it.

I honestly don't care who we play anymore as long as they're D1. I absolutely hate D2 games in basketball and football. Besides that, it's not like we're contending for an at-large bid; but if we ever were, not having D2 schools on the schedule would be a major plus.

It's us, Air Force, Duquesne and Loyola Marymount. We only had one more win than Air Force and both Duquense and LMU had more wins, 19 for the Dukes and 22 for the Fightin' Hank Gathers.

Air Force ran Missouri State off the floor last year IIRC. I think we're in the right tournament.

Do we know what the date for the Clemson game was supposed to be?

I looked through the BTI schedule board and both Michigan State and Wisconsin are looking for buy games on November 8-10 area.

So we were supposed to play Memphis, and now we're not. We were supposed to play Clemson, and now we're not.

Scheduling for mid-majors is nearly impossible.

Perhaps it is a good sign. Maybe they are looking at our roster and seeing a potential loss on their home floor.

Looking at the scheduling board, it's crazy how many mid-majors are scrambling for multiple dates, home/home series, etc. Meanwhile, most of the HM posts are just looking for a buy game on certain dates against opponents with certain RPI numbers. Joke of a system.

I can see Lansing getting us to beat Louisville by 25 then losing Home and Away to Southern Illinois, Missouri State, Loyola and Evansville. Aaaaargggh. And on a + note, that's part of a great non-conference schedule!

Man, State playing at Dayton AND at Wright State in the same season! How lucky am I? Might have to pull some strings to get tickets to UD, but will definitely be at Wright State for that game.

If anyone plans to make the trip over, Wright State has a Frickers observation deck that looks down on the court. First come first serve, so if you plan to drive over I can see how early I can get there and maybe hold a table.

Dayton
Louisville
Duquesne (Nov 21st)
Loyola Marymount (Nov 22nd)
Air Force (Nov 24th)
Wright State
Ball State

So, ya figure with a 12-game non-con, there are five more games to be announced. Unfortunately, more than likely, at least one of those games will be a D2 team (hopefully not two D2 games).

at least 2 of those games will be D2 home games, we (more specifically, Lansing) needs wins. I wouldn't be surprised to see three D2 games on the schedule. I don't see many wins in those 7 games listed, plus we have 18 MVC games, and we know what happens once the MVC season starts. I was thinking we'd schedule more like Evansville has scheduled lately, load up on OVC, MEAC, and SWAC games to get some wins before MVC play

The season we play three D2 games is the season I stop following Sycamore basketball. Fortunately, that season will never happen.
