Charlotte - Will Healy fired -- Pete Rossomando interim
Colorado - Karl Dorrell fired -- Mike Sanford Jr interim
Georgia Tech - Geoff Collins fired -- Brent Key interim
Nebraska - Scott Frost -- Mickey Joseph interim
Wisconsin - Paul Chryst fired -- Jim Leonhard interim

The Wisconsin position is really the only one that is semi-surprising. Yes they are having a bad year but Chryst has been a winner overall and taken them to several bowl games. Here Edwards had one decent season I think, the rest did little to nothing in their time at the school.

Well, he was at like $270k in total comp last time I looked several years back so I'd imagine he will be at or over $300k/year.

Not sure how many FCS coaches have $2M contracts but only Wofford and ARK-Pine Bluff have dumped their coaches to date, not sure either program pays the water crew, aren't most of those characters on work-study?

Was joking. And I have no idea how much is left on Mallory's contract, but probably safe to say well over $1M.

North Alabama, our home opening opponent, fired their football coach after starting out 1-7. Their one win was over Virginia-Wise who is a non-D1.

I heard Auburn fired their coach too. The AD's have been busy in Alabama.
