Two mid-week games might have seemed like a good idea, but with this pitching staff it's just painful.

Ty Brooks going to the Cape Cod League this summer. Pretty sure our last guy to play there was Manaea.
11-2 win over Illinois State. Karst did 8 2/3 innings with only an unearned run given up.

The only consistent thing about our baseball team this year is that we are inconsistent.

As long as we keep winning conf series I'll be happy. Need this one tomorrow.

UIC sweeps the Racers putting the Sycamores in first place for now
Next weekend is our “off” weekend where we are the odd team out and won’t play a conference series.
Hopefully some of the top teams drop another game or two next weekend.

Illinois State is @ Murray State next weekend, so they should take some games off each other.
Also have Evansville @ Belmont, SIU @ Bradley, and Valpo @ UIC.
I would expect UIC to take a giant leap up the leaderboard
a bunch of 2-1 series would be good for us without getting too specific on outcomes
