After getting swept by Gonzaga, we were 7-12. Since then, we are 16-7
Zags are also 28 in RPI so not exactly as doomsday as we thought it was when it happened.

Win a conference championship (or both) finish near the top 100 in RPI and I’d consider that a successful year 2 and getting the program back on track.

Also it looked like a pretty good crowd for a regular season conference game. Glad to see our fanbase still has momentum

Karst coming on as a second reliable weekend starter is HUGE for this team. I’m assuming McEwen is taking a medical red shirt this year?
It is a much needed boost to have Karst pitching like he has recently. About 3 weeks ago, TA said McEwen had begun throwing off the mound, I wonder if there was a setback and he's shut it down and taking a redshirt? I will see if I can find out.

The 30 or so kids from the Riley Little League they had out on the field before the game helped, you gotta figure at least 2.5 chaperones per kid.
2.5 per kid lol? Was that a typo?

Love when we do stuff like this. Have a group of kids to have at the game for every home sporting event. Builds good will, puts butts in seats, and might make some kids dream of being a future Sycamore.

It’s a win, win, win, win, win, situation for sure

I mean they average 2.5 chaperones per kid. Some might only have 1 parent bring them but at least a couple I saw had mom/dad and siblings

My kid came in on the under with 2 chaperones. On a side note...90% of those kids stayed 5+ innings and didn't see a single pitch.
