Nice. Do you think he makes it to State? He is a PG9 which is a potential Top 10 round pick and the other catcher from there last year ended up signing pro IIRC.

It's a good question. I'd love to know what kind of relationship he has with our coaches, as opposed to simply being a commit.

We'll prob have to wait and see if he does indeed get that Top 10 Round pick, and what the signing bonus is.

Our guy last year (Jandaniel Gonzalez) was a 3rd round pick for $550k.

Last year's 10th round picks got anywhere from 7.5k - 169k.

I meant to come on here and say the same thing. Cantu has a great opportunity to be our starting first baseman for the next couple of seasons. Ditto on Garcia. Dude has a hell of an arm

He’s stuck Terre Haute for the summer at the least, and was being heavily cheered by Diaz, Hernandez, Urdaneta among others when he came up to the plate

Just wishful thinking on my part, but he’s definitely a D1 talent and not naia.
