I am sure his shooting will improve, but he can play meaningful minutes just using his high motor, athleticism and cutting ability. At the bourbon and cigar night, HCMG said he was really excited to get him on campus. That sounds like a guy who is likely to play meaningful minutes to me....but maybe it was just coach speak.
We have had guys improve their shooting, like Brown and Marshall, but I'm concerned that he has played 2 yrs of college and still not showing the ability to shoot.
I guess that's just one of our many questions for this year.

The answer may or may not be in this interview. I haven’t had time to listen and won’t have time the next few days.

Remember how Jewell’s used to be a marginal shooter. He quickly got better.
Did he ever make a jump shot? Larry shot 35% on 3's his So year. Enel shot 16%. I wouldn't count on Enel being a 3 shooter. I have no knowledge of his mid range, but not counting on him being a reliable shooter. Like I said, I think Brown or Marshall type improvement would be all we could ever count on.
I wonder what kind of shooter Doughty was as a SO. I'll bet Harding improved his outside shot through his career.

I’ll go ahead and make a bold prediction - this guy is about to be a lot of people’s favorite player.

He does all the things nobody else on this team really did last year. We couldn’t defend anyone in any scheme last year. We never blocked a shot. We had zero offensive rebounding. This appears to be what Enel does at a high level. We need a junkyard dog.

If he can be our version of Daymond Green, that’s absolutely fine with me.
