The Starter Level
Noticed upon leaving the HC today that there are four new metal light poles laying on the ground along Cherry St sidewalk access. Surely this is not the lighting solution that is planned for the $150,000 Bird Statue. If this is the plan than we are back to square one. This type of lighting will not bring out or highlight the features intended by the artist, Bill Wolfe. Hopefully, I'm off base and this is not what is going to be used to address the Bird lighting issue!

Yes---I think so--or something very similar. There is a big difference between putting some light in the specific area vs. lighting that is specific toward illuminating this beautiful piece of art work-- highlighting the greatest college player to ever play in the State of Indiana and beyond.
I'm certainly not a lighting expert but some on here have mentioned more ground lighting up on the statue in using a combination of blue and white lighting to really show case this statue!
I do know that there are lighting consultants and/or architects that would know exactly what is needed for it to look like "class" and not just an after thought Band-Aid to quite the base!
Your thoughts?
