500 Wabash

Anyone heard rumors of restaurants that may locate in 500 Wabash? The Thompson Thrift site shows a Brothers Bar & Grill and Aveda (Este Lauder) store. I'm sure the gals will love Aveda - and maybe a few guys, LOL. Brothers should be cool!

I was quite certain it was going to be a Scotty's Brewhouse. That is what the rumor has been from the start. Things changed perhaps.

So I heard that Brothers is indeed what is going into the lower level of the new student housing complex.

I also heard that the guy that owns the Scotty's Brewhouse is one of the investing partners in the renovation project of the old/new Terre Haute Brewing Company.

Also the owner of the Ohio Building in downtown Terre Haute is currently in development/planning to build a new apartment complex at the site of the old Long John Silvers in DTH. They plan to have some sort of restaurant/bar in the lower level of this facility is my understanding.

A lot of movement right now in DTH. Not to mention the Hulman Center and an open former bar that was the Termenal Sports Bar.

Oh yes and JGumbos has just opened a new bar in that restaurant.
