By all accounts, Hayden is a good man. Until he actually hires a person like Floyd or makes excuses (or covers) for a current coach at USC, I won't judge him harshly. That could change very soon though, and should someone like Floyd or a Kelvin Sampson get hired than I would immediately lose all respect for Hayden.

I liked Hayden when he was in the booth. I thought when he went to USC, he'd be serious about cleaning up the mess.

Lane Kiffin still has a job.

Hayden is starting to feel pressure to win and that is when his true colors will show IMO. Is he willing to sacrifice integrity for victories?

Very true. Lane Kiffin will either be his downfall or his resurection as to how people view him. I will say this, I do not recall Pat Hayden making too many glowing remarks or comments about Lane. Would not say Kiffen has gotten a ringing endorsement from him. If he has another year like last year, I look for Kiffen to be out of a job.
