Only it's Michael Jordan's kid (who never sees the court at Illinois), so it's worthy of someone's outrage? Whatever. It's a bs thing to suspend someone for no matter who they are, so I say this column misses the point.

I just saw your post there. That is funny. I just don't get why the NCAA even cares. It's a charity tournament, so why be such a scrooge about it?

I agree somewhat with Dalefor. The rule exists (no matter how dumb it appears to be. Though I suspect it's been put in place to keep a coach from setting up a "charity" tournament to get an unfair recruiting advantage), the players unfortunately violated the rule. Nothing else the NCAA can do.
