Is there a newcomer of the year award? I'm guessing Fouch will get it. He's won the weekly version twice.

He should win it. I can think of no newcomer in the MVFC who has made more impact on a program than Ronnie. That might even be expanded to D1 football.
 
Fouch certainly deserves it, as well as consideration for the Offensive POY. However, there is competition for both the Newcomer (Rennie Tirrell from UNI) and the Offensive POY (Matt Barr from WIU). Hopefully he will win one of these awards. He has certainly made the most difference to his team of any player I've seen in the MVFC this season.

He already is second in single season passing all time and could break it next Saturday....on about 30-40% less attempts as well.
 
I was fairly young when Jeff Miller was QB at ISU, but I think (correct me if I'm wrong) most would conclude he is the best QB we've ever had at State. I think Ronnie Fouch is certainly merits comparison with Miller, and may just be better. We'll see how it goes next year, although I expect it will just get better!!!
