The thing I found funny about the article was that it acts like it is hard to get a visa to go to Mexico as a US citizen. It's essentially a "visa on arrival" and they are valid for 180 days. It only takes 5 minutes at the most to fill it out and get it stamped whether you took a plane or are crossing at the border. It's not an actual visa that you have to apply for before you go on the trip. It's as easy as going to Canada, except you have to fill out a paper that they stamp along with your passport.; and you have to turn in the paper when you leave.
