Michael Copper, ISU, 1969 was recently selected as part of the 2010 Class of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. He is already a member of the ISU HoF as a starter on the 1967-68 NCAA College Division National Finalist team.
Copper brings the number of Sycamores in the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame to 25.

Copper played high school basketball at Valparaiso and was a starter on the ISU team that took second in the NCAA College Division tournament in 1968, losing to Kentucky Wesleyan in the championship game in Evansville.
He had a long career in education and most recently retired as superintendent of the Lawrence School Corporation in Marion County.
